The Father's Food

Jesus said His food was doing the Father's will - obedience was sustenance, not a side task.

• Disciples worried about lunch; He said My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me - obedience fed Him more than bread.
• Level 1: His friends worried about lunch; Jesus said doing what God sent Him to do filled Him more than eating bread.

• Under Free Grace, the Father's will is not a wage for eternal life - it is the meal that nourishes a life already His.

• I treated obedience like homework after the fun stuff - the Father's food means the hard conversation was the main course, not dessert I might skip.
• Skipped the awkward apology because I was hungry and tired - Jesus finished the Samaritan woman's story before lunch because the Father's errand was food.
