Loss of Reward

A saved believer can still lose reward - worthless works burn, eternal life stays secure on Christ.

• Faithful use compounds; buried talent loses even what was given - reward can shrink without un-saving you.
• Level 1: Use what you are given and it can grow - like watering a plant instead of hiding the seed in a drawer where nothing happens.
• Level 2: The faithful servant compounds what the master gave - bury it and even that talent can be lost, while salvation stays on Christ alone.
• Level 3: Loss of reward means worthless works burn at the judgment seat - eternal life stays secure on faith, but repayment for faithful living can shrink.
• Level 4: Serve with what you have now - wasted seasons may cost reward at the Judgment Seat without reopening Justification.
• Level 5: Two ledgers: Free Grace settles eternal life at faith; Eternal Rewards settle what lasted - wood hay and stubble burn, gold stays, and Standing vs Fellowship keeps shame from collapsing standing.

Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.
