Let Your Light Shine

Good works are not for hiding - let people see the Father in how you live, not perform for applause.

• City on a hill cannot hide - let good works shine so people glorify the Father, not my personal brand.
• Level 1: Do good deeds where people can see them so they praise God - not so they praise you.
• Level 2: Good works on a hill point praise to the Father - visible on purpose, not to build your personal brand, like a lighthouse, not a billboard with your face.
• Level 3: Visible good works aim glory at the Father - when the audience applauds you instead, the light pointed the wrong way and the design failed.
• Level 4: Let good works be seen so observers glorify the Father - cut the moves that build your brand instead.
• Level 5: God Centered Design orders the same aim; Secret Devotion keeps private obedience in the ledger too.

• Not performance piety for applause - visible good for God's credit, not my feed.
• The point is not performance for applause - Jesus warns against practicing righteousness to be seen by people.
• Good works shine so God gets credit for Free Grace at work in a saved life, not so I build a personal brand.
• Parallel in the garden: Drafting in Public puts rough notes in the open so ideas get tested - same visibility instinct, different aim (glorify God, not the author).

Examples

• I brought extra water for the whole bench and almost posted about it - the light is not for my brand; it is so someone sees good work and thinks God is real.
• I covered a coworker's shift quietly and almost made it a LinkedIn moment - let your light shine so the Father gets credit, not my personal brand.
